Underground Traffic Driving Technique - A Non-techie Way to Creating a Traffic Frenzy
So you have Stantheman website up and running, you have your paid search campaign up and running and everything is ticking along nicely... until, you realize that you have not made a sale, generated a newsletter sign-up or got a lead. If you have ever used a search engine like Google or Yahoo, then you would know yourself, the majority of the time you are searching for information. Information on so many different topic areas and areas of interest. Broadly speaking, either you are trying to find information to solve a problem you have, or you have a desire to research or buy a particular product or service.
The search engines job is to go away and find links to websites that will give you the most relevant information based on the search terms you have typed in. This means that it is looking for the website that has the most relevant content on the website. And the best part is, favouritism is not given to big companies with big advertising budgets. It comes down to what site is the most relevant.
Examples of some sites that have plenty of relevant content that you may notice come up in your searches include:
- Wikipedia
- about.com
- Ezinearticles.com
To give you an example, type in "golf" into Google and click search. You will notice that the top link is in fact Wikipedia (A free encyclopedia built collaboratively) But why is that? These sites simply have so much content on so many different topic areas, it is actually hard to imagine how much information is on these sites. Now, you are possibly wondering, where are you going with all this?

They must copy the entire article, including the website link back to your website. So, just imagine, someone sends your article out to their database of 30,000 subscribers. - Write articles that give great information on your product or niche market
- Don't try to sell your product in your article
